This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My fully remote classroom is made up of 37 eager-to-learn students. My students have opted for fully remote learning to keep themselves safe and healthy. My students live in a community that is a high need​, low-income area made up of hard-working parents who set amazing examples for their children. Additionally, we have many students who have been living in homeless shelters their whole lives.

My students want to learn and develop in the safety of their home.

With support, I will be able to bring in new, innovative ways to keep my students engaged.

My Project

The monitors, mouse, and document camera that I will use will help to provide smooth and seamless lessons so that more time can be spent learning than making technology work.

The additional monitors will allow me to see my students while showing them work and teaching them lessons.

My students will have the same experience of learning that they would have if they were in the classroom. The document camera will allow me to share mentor texts and math problems, and to give directions on how to do an art project.
