This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are go getters. Many of them have been handed the short stick in life and yet they persevere. They're funny and enjoy a good laugh, but also want to learn and grow. Each year I get a new interesting batch of kids who surprise me and inspire me. My students are stars and they just need the right mediation to help them shine. I hope I inspire them and create a good environment for them to feel safe, smart, and important.
My Project
I am going to be remote teaching from September to December, and after having a taste of it this spring, I know what I need to help make this a better experience. I am asking for these items for my home during remote learning, and when we are able to go back into the school, I will definitely incorporate these items into our classroom as well. I have a white board already at home, but would love easier ways to digitize my lessons. I promise these will go to good use! Thank you so much!
