My Students
Hello! I teach a community of 2nd graders with growing minds. We love to read and share our books together! We aim to support each other with our reading goals. We love to read! We hope to develop our relationships remotely and stay connected with our school family.
My Project
Help my students develop a lifelong love of reading! We will use these books during our Reading and Writing Workshops to study author's intentions and grow like beanstalks in reading. Frog and Toad books are great for studying characters and learning about problems and solutions in the stories we read. Owl moon is an essential book to read so we can study the author's craft. This will teach us how to write strong personal narrative stories. Let us all love and share the same books at home. Reading is magical.
