Remote Learning

My Students

My Pre-K students walk into my classroom everyday ready to learn, explore and build communities within the classroom. We have adopted an early childhood curriculum in our district that requires more intentional teaching in small groups with reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.

I teach at a Title I school where 100% of the students receives free lunch and limited resources.

My goal is to encourage my students to be more creative and excel in their education experience through expressions. I have moved to a new Pre-K classroom without a writing area for my students, and I would like to have a space to encourage my student's in my new classroom to explore the great world of writing. A great writing area will give my student the tools, resources, and practice to become great writers.

My Project

My students are having to adapt to learning at home instead of learning in a classroom with their teacher and friends. These learning tools, such as: paper, books, counting bears, dry eraser boards and markers will help make their learning experience more engaging and less stressful.

The learning materials will be use to complete hands-on task with their teacher and classmates while they are online.

Having these materials at home can support their learning by giving ways to follow their teachers instructions and connect their learning with materials they can see and touch.

The students will have the opportunity to explore, construct and create in areas as in art, math, language and literacy.
