it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students in my Early Childhood Special Education classroom are eager to learn! We have a wide array of learners that are just growing by the minute! Our classroom contains 10 hard workers in the AM class and 15 just as hard working students in the PM class, all ranging from ages 3-5 years old with a variety of learning needs. We view ourselves as a classroom community and take care of one another. They are fun, energetic, happy little students begging for more opportunities to explore!
My Project
During this unpredictable and educational remote learning curriculum, we are beginning to run low on materials in the classroom. These materials help us create fun and interactive preschool lessons and art projects for our students to do at home and with the teacher virtually.
Preschool should be fun and engaging at school AND at home!
This is why it is so important that we get these materials. We will use the whiteboards to help write our names, the alphabet beads to build our names, various collage materials to create all sorts of fun art projects, plastic counters for BINGO vocabulary games & math lessons, tweezers to work on fine motor activities with their families, chart paper so we can write down all of our great ideas as a class of what we know, want to learn and what we learned...and so much more! We also use a lot of laminating to create reusable activities for the students so that they can play their favorite games more than once!
All of the supplies will be extremely helpful to me and my students during remote learning. I owe it to my students to make them fall in love with school!
