My Students

This year I am expecting an eager, energetic, creative and diverse group of 5 and 6-year-olds who love to learn (Remotely). About 90% of the students at my school are low-income status. I am excited to jump in and be their tour guide for the love of learning. I want my students to feel loved, respected, and important when they are in our classroom. I can't wait to see their faces light up when they succeed. I am so excited to add to the many positive role models they have in their lives and become another role model for my students. I want my students to have an inviting, comfortable, and exciting virtual learning experience.

My Project

With this device, I will be able to directly model assignments and lessons for my students that will mirror exactly what things look like on their device at home. It gives me a device that matches their device so I can help troubleshoot and better assist them in this journey of remote learning. It will take one additional hurdle of remote learning with Kindergarten students who have never been to school before, don't know English very well, and who have never used a device to learn before. Help me help my students. If I am equipped with the necessary learning tools, my students will be too.
