Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are inquisitive, diverse learners. They come to school with open minds and vocal voices, but sometimes not all of their supplies. Providing them with the basic tools of the classroom helps them create and think without interruptions.
Education is a priority for my students and their families.
Many of my students come from low income and single parent homes, they depend on their community for support. At our school, we are that support to our families and students. We believe that everyone, at home and at school, has a responsibility with the student.
My Project
I am asking for a MacBook Pro so that I am prepared for the best education I can provide as we move to all remote. My students will have chrome books at their home so I need a laptop that can handle the different software needed to make interactive lessons that are engaging and colorful. I also want our “hangouts” to be seamless and effective. I want to use programs that help us share ideas and work in different groups. This technology will enhance my online classroom and provide me with the tools to do a great job.
