FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bennett's classroom raised $670
This project is fully funded
My reluctant readers need to appreciate the infinite wisdom they can gain from learning to read a variety of genres. Teens today seem to overlook the necessity of being well-read, and the life-long benefits offered from reading a wide variety of literature. By having these books available to my students, they will become life-long readers, and become better prepared for college. Education plays a major part in forming our future leaders of tomorrow! Thank you for contributing to my students' lives in a meaningful way teach gifted students to remedial. Our school is experiencing tremendous budget cuts that diminish the opportunity for my students to experience the privilege of reading interesting novels that relate to their lives.
At this time of financial crisis in education, my students need the chance to read a variety of novels to which they may relate. My gifted to my remedial students deserve the opportunity to read meaningful books in our classroom. With little money for any extras, it will be challenging to offer my students the opportunity to read books that are non-fiction and fiction. The books which I have selected for this grant will impact my students because they can relate to both topics. Whenever students can make a personal connection to a book, it stays with them forever. Thank you for caring about the future of my students.
Although there are many valuable resources that would benefit my students, nothing impacts them more than changing their opinion about reading. If I could offer my students this reading experience about the Great Depression, and about real-life experiences, my students would definitely see a different perspective about why reading is a powerful tool to their future. Without the love of reading, my students will not pursue their dreams of going to college. Reading plays a meaningful role in all learning. These resources, Out of the Dust and Animal Farm will be put to great use, and may change the lives of my amazing students.
With your gracious donation, you will empower my reluctant readers to read more, and realize that reading will take them places that they could otherwise never go! It will make a difference! Thank you.
