My students need books to read as our school has been relocated due to Hurricane Sandy. They do not have any books to read. Please help us rebuild our class library.

My Students
Do you remember learning how to read? Learning your letters and their sounds then putting the sounds together to read the words. My students are at that point but we need books to read from.
My students come from homes that have little resources to begin with.
Now that their school has been relocated we don't have any resources including a class library. We are unsure of when we will return to our school and we are unable to gather what we had in our classroom to bring to our new building. We are unsure of our return date and they are in need of a leveled library including levels A,B and C, emergent readers as well as sight word readers.
My Project
When students read books on their level they feel successful. Having access to books that they are able to read will increase their motivation to continue to read. The more they read, the more fluent they will become. As a result they will be on grade level and not fall behind due to their displacement from Hurricane Sandy.
By helping to replace our lost library you can help make a difference in the education of the students in my class.
Students need to learn how to read and need to practice reading. Replacing our classroom library will help them become the great readers they have the potential to be.
