This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my student enjoy when I make them new things in color. I am very artistic so I make things out of color card stock so they can use it in class, I may send things home. The glue gun helps make our classroom more decorative and a wireless one will make it easier to utilize when hanging up anchor charts. Students utilize color pencils to complete some of the math problems. The colors help them demonstrate place value and steps in the process of the math task.

I am asking for some expo markers and need a place to organize them in.

I would like a marker caddy to help with that. They love the little eraser pets so and stickers so they will help me motivate them to complete their work. Within their classes they may not get as much as recognition as they do with me so I try to always emphasize even the slightest efforts.

I have yoga ball chairs which I received through a donor at Donors Choose. I always try to figure out new ways for them to enjoy coming to my class for additional help. The wiggle cushions will be a fun way to sit and enjoy practicing basic math skills. The other supplies are small things that I need replenished for the new year.
