Relaxing While Learning

My Students

My students are young, eager, fun learners. They are learning to sit and listen quietly to a story being read; they are learning to participate respectfully in a group setting and they love to socialize. The fundamentals of kindergarten are being taught and they are motivated to learn.

My students are enthusiastic learners that come from many different backgrounds.

They love to be social with one another and are ready to be in school.

Some are read to at home and some learn what being read to is like when they step into my classroom. They have fun personalities and constantly ask questions because of their curiosity about the world around them. They learn the best with hands-on creating and learning, and in smaller groups. My school is in a low to middle-class neighborhood and has a broad demographic range.

My Project

Education is changing every single day and so are the ways in which my students learn. Sitting and relaxing in the comfort of the alternative seating, my students will be able to enjoy reading a good book or playing a game.

By donating to our project, you will help my students improve and increase their attention and focus; therefore, you will ultimately help increase their academic achievement.

Games aren't only fun, but they offer active and engaging ways to learn and socialize.

Through these games, my students will work on their adding and subtracting skills along with their sorting skills. My students are emerging readers and the games I have chosen will allow them to practice rhyming words, work on their vowel sounds, and apply what they have learned to build words. The more engaged they are, the more they learn and can apply what they have learned.
