This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a social worker at a middle school seeking funding for new materials to help my students relive their stress and anxiety through artistic means.

By drawing in these various coloring books, I am encouraging their creative minds to draw what is on their mind.

I also hope that through their drawings, they can express how they are feeling by using specific colors.

I believe this method will work due to my own experience and that expressing myself through drawings calmed me and my mind.
