This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to help my 5th graders relax white they are learning in my classroom. They put a lot of pressure on themselves throughout the year, so being able to sit comfortably on our Flagship Carpet for them and be able to have a calming environment is important. They are testing constantly and are nervous wanting to do well to move them on to middle school. I would love for my students to be able to move around freely and work where they feel most comfortable. When they feel comfortable and safe, they will be more successful.
