This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm a new elementary school counselor at Texas Leadership Charter Academy of Midland and want to make my office/classroom a calm and inviting place for my sweet students. My goal is a proactive approach to stress, anxiety, bullying, etc. I want to teach my students strategies that they can use whenever needed throughout the rest of their lives. These books, the rug, and light covers will be just enough to get this space more user friendly for the kids I see each day. I want to provide them with all of this so that they become successful and contributing members of society.
