This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project is to help my high school students have a safe, relaxing, and fun place to go during lunch to enjoy time with their friends.
All too often, the lunch room is a crowded and noisy place which is not conducive to all students.
The goal is for students to feel like they have another place to go during the only time of the day when they really have down time.
I want students to have the chance to engage in improving their mental health through art and games. Students will have the chance to engage in coloring, painting, DIY projects, and playing board games.
Sometimes all we need is a moment to live in the moment without all the worries and stress of our daily lives.
