My Project

Teaching high school students for twenty years I have seen many students that carry stress and anxiety in different ways. This year feels different in that the students appear to have more stress, fewer resources, and need more support with their mental health.

Mental health is something I feel high school students truly need to understand and be able to find and or know resources to use.

This project will bring a few of those resources into my classroom and help my students manage their mental health for the year. My classes want to be great students and always put in more effort and work in class, but I see them struggle with mental health and I want to be able to help them succeed and become well-rounded adults.
