Help me give my students a calm down corner that will provide our students with a calming environment where they can take a moment to relax, reflect, and recharge.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our Calm Down Corner will be a safe and nurturing space where students can practice self-soothing strategies, build emotional resilience, and develop essential coping skills. Whether they need a moment to refocus after a challenging task or simply seek a quiet retreat during a busy day, our Calm Down Corner will support them on their journey to self-regulation and emotional well-being.
We believe that by providing our students with the tools and resources to navigate their emotions in a healthy way, we empower them to thrive not only academically but also in life.
