These lego activities and lessons will help my special education students in the areas of academics and behavior regulation. These materials will allow them the opportunity to work on critical thinking and visual-motor skills while building understanding of science and math. They will finally be able to work more closely in pairs (post COVID-19 pandemic restrictions). Together they will work and play cooperatively enhancing creativity and turn taking.
Funding this project will have special needs students engaging in hands-on learning that is calming and academic.
They will have fun exploring the various lessons and we can also do some "free build" where they can create or add on to lesson inspired builds. We are really looking forward to adding this new dimension to our classroom repertoire.
