Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Everyone knows that proper hydration is the key to so many things. From proper health to clear thinking, hydration is the key to success. The water fountain closest to my classroom has been disconnected since the beginning of the school year.
With temperatures soaring into the upper 90s and 100s, my students need access to water throughout the day.
Many of my students do not have their own water bottles, so they would be given a personalized water bottle to refill in my classroom.
Each of my students is in my classroom at least once per day so they would have the opportunity to have fresh water at least twice a day -- once from home and then a refill upon entering my room.
I believe this would help my students to be more successful throughout the day.
