My Project
Hello! I work for a middle school as one of the Occupational Therapists. DonorsChoose has helped me provide a sensory room and playground equipment at the elementary level. I am now seeking funding for the middle school for a rug, bean bag, and bubble tube. We have several students who could greatly benefit from a sensory or regulation room throughout their day. Many students have Autism, ADHD, and anxiety disorders. They are in desperate need of a place that they can regroup and then return to the classroom setting. The sensory hammock would greatly help since it provides deep pressure and relaxes the nervous system almost immediately. Please help us make this possible for our students!
