My Project

As the the elementary school Mental Health Counselor I am constantly looking for tools to help our early elementary students learn the skills they need to emotionally regulated. Because a brain that is constantly activated (in fight or flight mode), can not take in new information these skills are essential for our students at Spectrum to learn.

Neuro-diverse brains are much more prone to emotion dysregulation because of sensory input that is distressing or limited attention spans.

The tools and resources that I have included in this project will aid in teaching students the essential skills needed to emotional regulate.
