Refreshing Materials for a Refreshing Classroom

Help me give my students a fresh start, with fresh materials (pencils, pens, erasers, a rug, chairs, and more) for the school year.

My Students

Our school is a place where students come to learn and to also feel appreciated. As a teacher, I not only want my students to have respect for adults in the building but also for their fellow classmates. As teachers we want our students to achieve in academics as well as socially.

I want my classroom to be a place where all student feel safe and equal.

The students in my classroom are diverse students. Some are supported, with involved families and other are not. I want all my students no matter the background to feel involved with their own learning experiences.

My Project

At the end of the year when teacher begin taking inventory of everything they used and didn't use, we come across things that get lost or damaged. I am asking for these materials so that I can give my classroom a bit of refreshment.

These materials will be used and loved again this year.

We need new seating and a few new books to complete sets we already have. We would love to be able to utilize all our floor space with flexible seating and rugs. We are also missing our first Harry Potter book. How can we start reading Harry Potter with out the first one in the series?
