My Project

My students live in high-poverty sections of the city and they attend an urban public school. They face many hardships outside of school that make it challenging for them to stay focused on the importance of education. However, they take great pride in their work and strive to be successful.

My students have enormous potential that they will reach with encouragement and motivation.

They continuously make me proud! School is where they feel safe and where they can formulate positive relationships that can help guide them toward success!

I try to refresh my classroom from year to year so that my students feel important and proud. Staple items like white boards, dry erase markers, binders and tissues get tremendous use and often run out or look old and worn out. I want my students to feel special and important as I welcome them into a clean, new, vibrant classroom!
