My Project

These books will help students see themselves either in characters in the books or the actions of the characters in them. They will be super helpful to express empathy towards others and help with our core value of compassion.

These books will be read aloud and then left in the classrooms for students to peruse at their own leisure.

They were carefully chosen so that students can increase their acceptance and understanding of our differences. When this happens, I think these will really help build our classroom and school community.
