My Project

Do you remember a time when your emotions got the better of you? Now imagine trying to pay attention in school while you were overcome with feelings? This happens to our students everyday. Emotional regulation and social skills do not come naturally for all children, they need to be taught just like any other skill.

Social emotional learning leads to increased self-awareness, academic achievement, and positive behaviors both in and out of the classroom.

In fact, studies show that students' social and emotional needs must be met in order for them to reach their full academic potential. This project will help me provide engaging lessons and interactive games that will make this learning fun.
