This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are energetic, curious, and full of potential. They come to school each day ready to learn, ask questions, and support one another. What I admire most is their resilience and enthusiasm—they take pride in their work and their classroom, and they thrive when given the tools and structure they need to succeed.

This project is all about refreshing our learning space and making sure students have what they need to stay organized and focused.

Pencils may seem simple, but they are the most-used tool in our room and constantly in need of replenishment. The mini trash buckets will be placed at student tables to encourage clean-up routines and cut down on disruptions. The roller vacuum will help us quickly tidy up after hands-on activities and snacks, keeping our space clean and inviting. Large sticky note pads and the easel will be used during group work, interactive lessons, and student presentations—encouraging collaboration, creativity, and visibility of ideas.

Together, these resources will help us build a classroom environment where students feel prepared, responsible, and proud of their space—because when the classroom is in order, learning can truly take center stage.
