My Project

My fifth grade students are thirsty for knowledge. Many come from low income homes with few, if any, reference books or access to the Internet. They love being able to research topics of interest and find answers to the many questions that arise during our lessons. Learning should inspire inquiry and reference books help answer their questions and inspire further wonderings so the cycle continues. COVID-19 isolated our students at home and restricted their access to quality texts. They love being able to physically collaborate and do research together using real books again!
