My Project
My band program is starting a high school beginning band for the 2024-2025 school year. Students taking this course have either fallen out of band during middle school and want to try it again or missed out in joining band in middle school and want to join band in high school. We are starting this class in limited instrumentation and will let students branch out to other instruments as they become more confident and proficient.
Recently, I was able to get over thirty instruments donated to the band program that will be great addition for our beginning band.
With these instruments, I am still in need of supplies such as reeds, valve oil and mouthpieces to get the kids to play. I am wanting to acquire synthetic reeds so they may last longer for my beginners and help with the cost of reeds until they are ready to make an investment into their band career.
