Help me give my students tenor and baritone sax reeds so they can play in class each day.

My Students
We have a diverse population of almost entirely minority students in attendance, including many English learners, and several students who are barely speaking any English. We have great staff members who love the kids and support them in all aspects of their education. Safety is our number one priority in my school.
We hope to provide a well-rounded music education, where music class is “cool” and kids look forward to coming to class.
We are finding ourselves in need of some supplies to help maintain our growing music program.
My Project
Reeds are a consumable resource that is 100% unavoidable in my classroom. I work hard to make sure my kids have high quality reeds that will respond well and produce a good tone for my students. There's nothing worse than playing on poor equipment! For this project request, I'm asking for 10 boxes of Vandoren Blue Box reeds for clarinet and several boxes of Rico Orange Box reeds for saxophone and clarinet. I'm monitoring my supply of reeds for my students closely to make sure my students are covered for now and the near future. This project should get us through the school year and set us up for beginning band in the fall as well. Having high quality reeds is expensive and we couldn't be where we are today without the kind support of donors like yourself. My students take very good care of equipment, they are taught how to properly rotate through their reeds and how to maintain them so that they will last a long time. You can rest assured that your donation will go far in our band room! Thank you for considering supporting our thriving band program!
