My Students

My students are energetic, hardworking members of the marching band! We work throughout the summer to be the best performing ensemble we can be. Our school is located in a rural area of upstate South Carolina. Many of our students participate in the free and reduced lunch program.

We have over 135 students enrolled in our marching band program!

I truly believe these are the best students in the school. Thank you for helping us reach our goals with your donation through Donorschoose.

My Project

It is impossible for clarinet and saxophone players to make a good sound on their instrument if they are dealing with chipped or broken reeds. This project will allow me to provide students that cannot afford a new reed the opportunity to be successful and make great sounds on their instruments.

Your donation will impact not only my entire band by allowing us to sound better as a group, but each individual student that receives a reed from this project.

My students are dedicated and try hard, but sometimes financial hardships at home make it difficult for them to always play their best. This project is one way to help alleviate one small problem in my students' lives and give them the opportunity to make music.
