My Project

I would love for my students to learn about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling to help our community and planet. This project will include books for read-alouds to teach us about the importance about reducing, reusing, and recycling. The project also includes toys to help us learn how to sort our recycling by paper, plastic, and metals. We learn best through play in Pre-K so these toys, puzzles, and games will help us learn how to sort our trash in real life at home. These books and games will end in a culminating project of us making posters to hang at school and around our neighborhood promoting our new recycling program at school and the importance of recycling at home.
