This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an awesome bunch of kids that need to move and be flexible in their learning space.
The students in my class must continue to grow in a clean and healthy physical and mental environment.
We want our classroom to be a community of emotionally and physically healthy individuals. We need to create an even more nurturing environment to promote self awareness and inner peace. Students will learn to manage their emotions and take others into consideration while interacting with classmates.
My Project
These items will significantly reduce the level of stress and anxiety that students may experience when presented with tasks. We need to be comfortable and flexible as we work. The use of these items will help my students with sensory needs be comfortable as they complete work in our classroom. My students need items to help them manage their personal space and some need extra sensory stimulation to stay focused on the work to be done. These cushions, weighted blankets and rug will make our room not just beautiful and coordinated but, they will help the students with their individual needs.
