it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Thank you for taking the time to consider funding our project! Every day I am afforded the opportunity to work with some of the most brilliant and engaging young minds.
My students are bright, hardworking, and determined.
The success of my students can be contributed to determination, not opportunity. The students I serve come from backgrounds where finances are often strained. My students have to work twice as hard as most students to succeed. Our motto is, "Learning is our lifestyle, and failure is not an option." Please, help me close the opportunity gap and allow my students to continue to flourish.
My Project
Fluorescent lights in classrooms often cause glares on boards and computers. These lights also put a strain on vision and cause headaches. Fluorescent light filter covers will greatly help my students achieve success without straining their eyes.
We often work in our classroom with half of our ceiling lights off and side lamps turned on.
I would love for my students to have the ability to work in our class without worrying about whether or not they can see due to the lights. Please, consider helping my students achieve success in their academics by funding our project.
