My Project

Materials from this project will aid students in their discovery of paper making. Dating back to Egyptian Papyrus in 3000 BCE, paper has shaped our culture by disseminating information and as a foundation for art to be created.

Students will make their own paper pulp from recycled paper in our school and native Georgia wildflower seeds, experiment with Cyanotype, and create post cards to share with loved ones and our community.

All materials used to create the postcards such as moulds and deckles will be reused over and over. The post cards will be able to be planted to reduce, reuse, and reflower our community!
