This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Learning about helping the environment is such an important lesson for all students to learn. We are always taking about the 3 r’s (reduce, reuse and recycle).
Having these plastic cups will allow us to learn about reusing.
My students would have individual cups to refill from our filling stations and learn about the importance of minimizing waste. Some students bring a new plastic water bottle everyday. With these personalized plastic cups, they wouldn’t have to. The vinyl would be used to personalize the cups so that the students would know which was theirs. The bags will be used to hold their cups.
