My Project
At our school, we are getting new students every week. Some of the students stay with us for five days, some for 14 days, some for 45 days or longer. Every year, we find that we are lacking in certain supplies. Some of the supplies that seem to go fast are pencils, large brown envelopes, thermal sheets, and glue sticks.
Most of the students come unprepared to us, so we provide them with pencils and glue sticks when needed.
Thermal pouches are used to protect material that will used over and over again, while the ziplock bags are used to store them. Ziplock bags are also used in a variety of experiments. To keep track of the variety of classes I teach, each student is given a color manilla folder for the high school classes while the middle school will use the manilla folders. The folders contain their daily work. To help with communication, I use brown envelopes to send home papers that need to be signed or filled out for return to school.
Although most of my students are with me temporarily, they still need the supplies to succeed in their academic endeavors.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
