This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items that I have requested for my Pre-K classroom will help my students with our upcoming units of study. The first unit we will be touching on soon is the Light unit and after that, it will be the Water unit. These items will help us show them different aspects of how can work and the different places light can be found. The items for the water unit will help them be able to explore the water table in a way that is more intriguing to them.

My goal for this project is for my students to have fun while learning things by play and being hands-on.

I want them to understand that light and water can come from significantly different places and still be light and water. My pre-k class is full very bright 4-year-olds that have the energy and passion to learn and providing them with enough materials to explore these units will mean the world to them.
