Red Light, Green Light: Visualize Volume in the Resource Room.
Help me give my students the tools to learn to control their volume in a cool way! This traffic light noise meter will give my learning support students a visual representation of their volume levels.
My 3rd and 4th grade Learning Support students are an energetic, hard-working bunch. They see the Resource Room as a safe place to ask for help, learn in collaborative groups, build foundational skills, and show what they know! Sometimes they're so engaged in group work that their volume level gets louder than acceptable. This project will help students manage their own behavior responsibly in preparation for middle school.
This traffic light volume meter will give my students a visual representation of their volume levels, allowing them the ability to know when they need to lower their volume.
