This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with limited and non-verbal autistic students. I'm requesting your help to purchase shopping carts for our school-wide recycling project. We teach our students about the importance of saving our environment. Our contribution is through recycling bottles and cans, and taking them to Costco to recycle them.

Currently we have one small shopping cart; but as our recycling project has grown, we need more shopping carts as we've been collecting more and more bottles and cans.

With more shopping carts, more students are able to help transport the bottles and cans to Costco.
