Recycling Art

My students need paint brushes and a drying rack for several recycling projects.

My Students

Children love to create and help the environment. I thought we would combine both with the help of Disney for this project.

Disney is offering a 50-50 match for hands-on projects that foster creativity and help the environment.

Recycling various materials to create works of art is our goal. I would like to create a mural using recycled plastic bottle caps to help decorate our art room.

My Project

The paint brushes I have requested are multi purpose brushes which can be used for painting as well as applying adhesives for our mural. A table top drying rack will come in very useful to store pieces as they dry, with 7 classes a day, storage is essential.

Art can foster creativity while teaching the importance of recycling to children who will in turn take this knowledge home to encourage and educate their families on the importance of recycling.
