Help me give my students tactile manipulatives so they can use them in our Recovery Area when they are feeling upset or overwhelmed.

My Students
The students in my self-contained classroom are amazing! Although they need support with academics, self-help skills, life skills, and social/emotional skills, they make progress every day. The students in my classroom try their best to succeed in both my self-contained classroom and in their general education classrooms.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will help me create a sensory-based Recovery Area for my students to ask to go into when they are feeling upset or overwhelmed. My students are working on identifying their feelings and communicating when they are angry, sad, frustrated, and are unable to continue to participate with the class.
The addition of a Recovery Area with sensory items will give the students a place to go to take a break.
They can use these sensory items to calm down and rejoin their peers when they are feeling better.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
