My Students
My students work hard every day. They often have jobs that contribute to household income and we are in a Title I rural high school. I have several who would love to experiment more with music if they had the resources.
My Project
We have the bare bones for a recording studio thanks to previous donors. Now we would like to make that studio a place where high-quality music can be made. Adding a beat pad with a keyboard and acoustic tiles for the walls will help us do that.
The room we are using was set up to be a practice room off the music classroom and it does not have any soundproofing.
Having those tiles will greatly improve the sound of recorded music. The students are excited and willing to help put up the tiles and set up the room.
