Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In Mrs. Hurtado's class at Napa High School, we are exciting embark a new adventure that will bring history to life for our students.
We are launching a podcast and animation project that will allow my students to create and explore historical and current events and figures.
This innovative approach will not only deepen their understanding of history but also develop their research, writing, and digital media skills. I teach ethnic studies, World History and US History. I also teach some of these classes in Spanish as our school has an immersion program. To make this project a reality, we need your help in acquiring essential equipment.
Specifically, I are seeking donations of:
Microphones for high-quality audio recording
Tablet for editing process
Headphones for clear audio monitoring
Portable voice recorder
Your generous contribution will directly impact our students' learning experience. With this equipment, they will be able to:
Produce engaging historical podcasts
Create animated short films about key historical events
Develop valuable digital storytelling skills
Collaborate on multimedia projects
