Recording Headsets Needed For Grade A School's Technology Lab

My students need these recording headsets for a new computer program that our district has implemented which requires students to record themselves reading aloud.

My Students

Our school is a grade A school that has just implemented a new computer program called Imagine Learning. This program is an excellent source that is catered to students' individual needs and allows teachers to track progress. Even more, the program gives teachers lessons that fit the specific categories that students might need extra help with.

The program also allows for students to practice reading aloud.

Ideally, the students are to record their voices reading segments. These audio recordings are saved and can be reviewed by teachers. Unfortunately, we do not have any recording capable devices for the computer lab and we do not have enough headphones for every student. With your help, we can purchase recording microphones and additional headsets for our learners.

My Project

By receiving these recording headsets, students' scores on the Imagine Learning program will soar. These recordings are best used for teachers to analyze and even for parents to hear during parent-teacher conferences. As of now, students are still getting the practice they need by reading aloud but neither themselves or their teachers are able to hear the playback of their voices.

This donation will better our learning environment by providing students with the tools they need in order to be successful.

The students are confused why they are required to read aloud and get frustrated when the program gives them low scores. If they were able to record the required sections, their scores would substantially improve.
