This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I want to encourage my students to continue to participate in music after elementary school.

Playing recorders will give them the confidence and prepare them for playing band instruments in middle and high school.

Recorders will also prepare my students by increasing their music literacy and aural skills for future music classes.

Other important benefits of learning recorder is increasing hand eye coordination and fin motor skills, which have been scientifically proven to help students in other school subjects.

Lastly I hope teaching recorder to my students will foster a love in music.
