This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am purchasing recorders for my school because, I want to encourage my students to continue to participate in music after elementary school. Playing recorders will give them the confidence and prepare my students for playing band instruments in middle and high school.
Recorders will also prepare my students by increasing their music literacy and aural skills for future music classes .
Other important benefits of learning recorder is increasing hand eye coordination and fin motor skills. Lastly I hope teaching recorder to my students will foster a love in music.
