My Project
Students will start the year playing the recorders in music so they can begin to learn how to read music! With this skill they will be able to go on to play the piano and read the music they are singing as a choir! Students will get to keep their recorder at the end of the unit to bring home as their first instrument. The recorder is an instrument many students remember playing as young people and thus will give students memories and ability to take music with them into the rest of their lives.
