My Students
Every child needs their own recorder to use because of health risks and to improve their progress. I want to check out a recorder to those children who can not purchase their own. It's getting harder for my students to purchase any kind of school supplies.
My students attend a Title I school that has almost 1000 students K-5.
They are talented and recorder playing is an opportunity for them to shine. When I work with them, it just takes a little longer, with lots of patience, but they can do anything they decide to do.
My Project
Recorder playing starts breath control,learning note names and reading notes on the 5 line staff. Recorders help develop understanding of melody, rhythm, harmony, tempo, style, and much more. Solo, small group, or the whole class performing is such a treat.
Brain power will expand and self confidence soar on the sweet notes of the recorder.
