Recorder Unit, Learning How to Play Recorder With a Class!
Help me give my students recorders, so that we can start learning recorders in grades 3-5. We have not had the opportunity to start learning recorder because we do not have enough for all students. Thank you!
I plan to teach recorder to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. In the south Carolina music curriculum, they are supposed to learn recorder and ukulele. I do not have either of those instruments available for my students and would like to start with recorder. We will learn different songs and elements, as well as go through "Recorder Karate".
I am so excited to get the opportunity to teach recorder to students.
It is so important for them to know how to play instruments as a team. This helps review pitch recognition, sight reading, and motor skills that other school subjects do not teach. Please help me with this project!
