This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students deeply and believe in the power of culture to connect, inspire,and teach. Many of them come from diverse backgrounds and find pride and healing and learning about traditions like Dia de los Muertos. Each resource: papel picado, frames, butterflies and more, will not only bring their altars to life but will also help them engage hands-on with history,art and storytelling. My goal is to create a space where students can explore their heritage, honor their loved ones, and express themselves creatively and respectfully. With your support, we can make this meaningful experience possible for every student in my AP Spanish Language and Culture course.
